Graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2002, Prof. Umut YENİOCAK completed his master’s degree at Istanbul Bilgi University, Department of Economic Law with his thesis on Seizure of Joint Stock and Limited Company Shares.

YENİOCAK, who gave his PhD in the Private Law Department of Istanbul University, with the conference work on the Construction Contract Based on Revenue Sharing; He became an associate professor in 2017 by being successful in the associate professorship exam he took with his book titled Franchise Agreement and other academic studies.

YENİOCAK, who gives lectures as a visiting professor at the University of Cologne and Istanbul University; He has been working as a self-employed lawyer in Istanbul since 2004 and still continues as a lecturer at Altınbaş University Faculty of Law and educational studies at the Education Center of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations.

He also designs and implements contract law training courses for a large number of institutions such as the Turkish Republic Presidency of Defense Industry Presidency, Turkish Airlines, Turkey Petroleum Refinery Corporation, Air Electronic Industry and Trade Corporation, Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, Defense Industry Research and Development Institute, Savings Deposit Insurance Fund, Iller Bank Corporation etc.

YENIOCAK, who acts as an arbitrator in arbitration proceedings, carries out training and consultancy activities within the Yeniocak Contract Academy he founded in Istanbul and is the Spokesperson of the Law Monitoring Center of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations.
