Documents Required For Turkish Citizenship Application

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR TURKISH CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION

  • Application form stating the citizenship request
  • Passport or similar document, if it is stateless, the relevant document if it is possible to obtain it
  • Marital status certificate, marriage certificate if married, divorce certificate if divorced, spouse's death certificate if widowed
  • Document showing the applicant's identity information (such as a birth certificate or birth certificate sample)
  • If the applicant is married, a copy of the birth certificate or similar document proving the family ties of his spouse and children
  • If the child under the age of 18, who is in the custody of the applicant, is also required to acquire Turkish citizenship, the document showing the consent of the other parent and its notarized Turkish translations, issued by the notary public in Turkey, or by the foreign representative office or the competent authorities of the country abroad.
  • If the applicant has first or second degree relatives who are Turkish citizens, a identity register copy of these persons.
  • If the applicant's date of birth does not have a month and a day, the document obtained from the competent authorities of his country for the completion of the date of birth, and if the document cannot be obtained, the signed statement that he agrees to take action pursuant to Article 39 of the Population Services Law No. 5490.
  • Receipt showing that the service fee has been paid to the Finance Teller.
  • Health report
  • 2 biometric photographs (white background)
  • Notarized Turkish translations of the aforementioned documents
  • Power of attorney
